THL Suit

"Rescue operations" protective clothing

Certified to EN 469:2005 Protection level Xf1 Xr1 Y2 and Z2 incl. Annex B and EN 1149-5

The “rescue operations” protective suit was specially developed for technical rescue operations. Suitable for all firefighting operations apart from firefighting indoors. THL clothing is highly water and wind resistant and only weighs 1.57 kg.

The “Rescue Operations” protective suit is especially light and comfortable to wear.

  • NOMEX® Tough in dark blue
  • NOMEX® Tough in gold
  • PBI Matrix in golden yellow

Three-layer fabric

  • Exterior layer made from NOMEX®Though or PBI Matrix
  • Moisture protection (liner) with water and wind-proof, highly active breathable membrane
  • Lining made from aramide/viscose fabric blend

 

The THL suit is available with two exterior materials:

NOMEX®Tough 

  • One of the classic fabrics for firefighters’ protective clothing
  • Very good mechanical and thermal properties
  • Very good maintenance properties

PBI – The PREMIER product on the clothing market

  • Organic fiber that neither burns nor melts
  • Even after exposure to flames, it remains soft, does not shrink or become brittle and does not break apart
  • Best tear resistance as well as resistance to many chemicals

Functional jacket

  • Absorption barrier made from flame-retardant PU-coated aramide fabric
  • Good freedom of movement thanks to movement gusset
  • Solid plastic zipper
  • Reinforcements in elbow region
  • Customized width adjustment at end of the sleeve
  • Chest pockets on both sides
  • Clasp displays rank on the radio pocket
  • Strap to hold microphone
  • 15 x 2.5 cm Velcro section for name badge
  • Elastic knitted section with zipper for zipping to the pants
